Hillary Gilmore
Hilary lives and works in Co. Clare. Her skill as a water-colourist is well known and includes botanical subjects and historic buildings. Her work for “The Other Clare” archaeological magazine is a visual record of many otherwise unknown places and artefacts, and is highly accomplished.
For Wallcandy Hillary worked with her daughter Grace. Together they painted beautiful cherry blossoms onto the plant shape left on the wall after ivy was removed and the paint was pulled off.
